Weekly Check-In

Happy Wednesday Team!

Don’t Wednesdays always seem to come up fast?  This week seems to be flying by fast, and even more so, our first round of P90X3 is already in week 10!  Although our plan is to do the Elite Block, which will add 4 weeks to the plan.  I really wanted to test drive the entire program, so I decided to pick up the Elite workouts.  Over the last week I’ve tried them all, and wow are they intense!  They are by far the hardest 30 minute workouts I’ve done!  So I’m excited to do those for a whole month!

Before I get too far into the check-in, I wanted to let you all in on the BIG NEWS Team Beachbody just announced!  All of you Chalene Johnson fans are going to love this!  She’ll be releasing a new program at Coach Summit in June!!  I’d heard teasers about this, but hadn’t heard anything concrete until yesterday.  But the new workout will be called PiYo and you can find out some more info here: PiYo Workout Details.

Something else I’m excited about is our 14 Day Clean Eating Challenge.  We’re starting this coming Monday, so there is absolutely time to jump on board.  I’ve created the meal plan and will be creating our private Facebook group this week, so if you want in let me know or say that you’re ‘attending’ the Facebook Event.  Another fun thing I posted on the blog this past week was Tony Horton’s Accelerated YouTube video series.  He has a bunch of short videos with workouts that can either add to what you’re doing or give you an option if you really have no time.  You know I’m a huge Tony Horton fan, so I think it’s a fun idea.

My success tip for the week is to try a new type of produce this week.  I guess my mind is stuck on the clean eating challenge 🙂  I participated in an eating challenge at work, and one of the weeks we had to try a new fruit or vegetable that we had never eaten before.  I ended up trying brussel sprouts, and it turns out I really like them!  So now I eat them regularly.  You might surprise yourself with something you assumed you wouldn’t like.  So give it a try this week and let me know how it goes!
