Weekly Check-In

Happy Wednesday Team!

The weather is finally turning a corner here, plus with daylight savings the sun is out later into the evening so I’ve been in a really good mood this week!  I know we’re most likely not done with snow and a bit of cold weather, but it’s nice to have a little break!  It makes me look forward to being active outside again.  We like to walk, bike, play tennis, golf and just be around the lakes, so I’m excited to be able to do more of that again soon!  Do you have anything active you like to do outside in the summer?  Working out at home is great and it’s convenient, but sometimes switching up your environment or what you’re doing can really help re-motivate you!

My success tip this week actually comes from a conversation I was having with a member of our team.  My tip is to: Find someone that you know, that would like some help getting motivated to start a health/weightloss journey and become accountability partners.  Amanda was telling me how she had a friend who needed some motivating to get healthy.  She knew Amanda had been successful, so she knew Amanda would be able to help her.  They are in contact daily, which really helps them stick with it.  The really cool part is that Amanda says her friend actually provides a ton of motivation for her to stick with it!  That’s the same exact way I feel with being a Coach for our team.  I’m here to help motivate you, but in reality, I get a ton of motivation from all of you pushing hard and knowing I can’t let you all down!  So I challenge you to reach out to someone who is in need of some motivation and let that fuel both of you!

As I mentioned this last week, I posted a couple articles on the blog that I think are helpful.  The first being about eating your exercise calories.  There are a couple big mistakes that people sometimes make when they start off, so make sure you check that out.  I also posted about the March Beachbody Sales.  They have three great sales going on this month, so I highly recommend you check them out!  The 21 Day Fix has still been very popular, and although the sale is not still going on, the Challenge Pack is a great deal at $160.  You basically get the program for $30 when you factor in the cost of Shakeology, so you really can’t beat that!

Our Challenge Group is really on the home stretch of P90X3!  I’m still thinking about what I want to do after we finish, but I might hop right back into another round.  So if that’s something you’ve been considering let me know, because it would be really fun to do it with another group from our team!  Even if you’re not planning on doing X3, I would still love to hear from you!  Let me know how I can help, whether you’ve got a question on nutrition, workouts, need motivation, etc!  I’m here for you!
