Weekly Check-In

Happy Wednesday Team!

Can you believe it’s already March??  If you started a 60 day program like Focus T25 or Insanity at the beginning of the year, you should be finishing up right about now.  And that must be a great feeling!  I think it shows that 60 or even 90 days goes by relatively fast.  So if you’ve been intimidated by a program, thinking it’s going to be too tough or that you won’t make it, just take things one day at a time, and before you know it you’ll complete a round.  And just think about how good you’ll feel after making it through an entire program!  It’s never too late to start, so if you’ve been off the wagon for a little while, I’d encourage you to jump right back on today.

My success tip for this week is about nutrition.  My tip is to track everything you eat, and I mean every bite, for just one week.  You can use whatever tool you like, but I find myfitnesspal to be the easiest app/website to use.  I know some people find tracking to be tedious work, but you can do anything for just a week, right?  The reason this is my tip is that nutrition tends to be the area most people struggle in.  I know it’s the hardest thing for me.  Tracking, even for a short period of time, really opens your eyes up to what you’re actually eating.  And you might end up being very surprised at how many calories all those little snacks throughout the day add up to.  Maybe this week will show that you’re right on track for your goals, but maybe it will indicate some changes you need to make.  Either way, I highly recommend doing it.

I’ve been working on a couple posts for you all this week too, so stay tuned for those.  I’ll be posting about eating your workout calories and then I also saw there are some insane deals from Team Beachbody this month so I’ll post what those are on the blog as well.
