Weekly Check-In

Happy Wednesday Team!

cali picAfter being in southern California for four days, it was a little tough to come back to the cold and snow again, but I do have to say I’m enjoying being back in our home gym and making all my meals again.  Being on vacation certainly makes it tough to stick to your plan, but thankfully it was just a short trip.  Plus we did quite a bit of hiking, walking and swimming so we tried to stay fairly active while we were there.  So all in all it was a good trip.  I think I’m caught up on messages from you all, but if I missed one let me know!

Our P90X3 Challenge Group is nearing the end of our second phase and I continue to love these workouts.  Originally I was a bit skeptical about how good of a workout you could really get in 30 minutes, especially when introducing resistance training, but I continue to be impressed!  It’s fast-paced and you really don’t waste any time.  I’ll work on a review of the phase 2 workouts for you all, so keep an eye out for that!

My success tip for this week is inspired from our little vacation.  If you’re feeling bored with your workout or nutrition routine, then take a short time to change things up and refresh yourself mentally to get back into it.  Try some new, healthy foods, or incorporate a different kind of training for a couple days.  Just do something out of the ordinary to keep things fresh.  I see people get off track, sometimes because they just get bored.  Making a small change for a short period of time can really be a good thing I think.  So give that a try this week and let me know how it goes!

I’ll keep the check-in fairly short, but as always reach out to me with any questions you have or if you just want to share your progress.  I love getting your questions and hearing about how your journey to improve your health is going!

And 2 favors that I ask:

1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and video, PLEASE help me out by sharing them.  Click the share links below them and share them on FB, Stumbleupon, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow Team New Body!
2) Also, as always, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.teamnewbody.com, or by logging in to www.teambeachbody.com to do your shopping (If you buy from the plain beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
