Weekly Check-In

Hey TNB!

I hope your weeks are all off to a great start!  Crazy that we’re already into the 3rd week of January, February will be here before you know it!  Since we’re a few weeks into the new year, I think it’s interesting to think about new year’s resolutions.  If you made some, are you sticking to them?  Or have you fallen off the bandwagon?  This is probably the most common time for people to lose some steam and struggle to keep going with their resolution.  If you’ve found that’s you, don’t give up!  It’s time to dig deep, and remember why you set that resolution in the first place.  Remember why it’s important to you to get in shape, or hit whatever other goal you wanted.  Let that fuel your motivation to stick with it.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day this week, I thought my success tip should be a quote from him.  One that I saw posted quite a bit that I really like is, “If you can fly, then run, if you can’t run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward”.  That applies to lots of areas in your life.  If you’re striving for a goal, you need to be moving towards it.  You can’t sit idle.  If you’re not where you want to be, that’s ok!  But you just need to start moving in the direction of your goal and let momentum get on your side.

It’s been a bit of a slow week in writing for me, but I will post my review of the first phase of P90X3 this week!  I’m just about done with the first phase of workouts, heading into the transition week before all new workouts for phase two!  I never feel like I need more than 30 minutes to get a great workout in, so I’m extremely happy with the program so far!  And it’s been fun to do it with the rest of our Challenge Group too!
