Weekly Check-In

Hey team!

I know it’s been a few weeks, but don’t worry, the check-ins are starting again to help make sure you’re on track and off to a great start in 2014!  How has the year started off for you?  Did you make a resolution about your health and have you stuck to it?  I would love to hear about that!  I have just started P90X3 along with a number of people on our team and so far it’s a blast!  I’m looking forward to sharing our results with all of you.

If you did make some New Year’s resolutions, I wrote an article that will hopefully help you stick with them.  You can check out my tips here.  I’ve set lots of resolutions, some that have worked and some that haven’t, so hopefully you can learn from my experience 🙂  Also, for those of you with health resolutions, Team Beachbody is offering some great deals this month.  The deals are specifically on Focus T25 and P90X3.  Both programs are great if you’re getting started and especially if you have a busy schedule.  You can check out those details here: Beachbody January Deals.

Per the usual, I wanted to add a success tip in this week’s check-in.  My tip this week: Start small.  I know it can be tempting to want to make huge changes.  Totally revamp what you’re eating, go from working out 0 days a week to 6 days a week, etc.  Sometimes that can just be too much.  Making small, incremental changes can really be a great way to help you stick with it.  Start with something like switching out pop for water or working out 3 or 4 days a week and then working your way up.  I see a lot of people get discouraged when they try to make too big of changes, and that’s the last thing I want to see from you.

So hopefully that will help you get this year started right!  On a ‘Beachbody news’ note, they did make a big announcement on Monday.  There’s a new flavor of Shakeology!  I was surprised by this, as I hadn’t heard of any development, but they will start shipping Strawberry Shakeology on January 13th!  I’m excited to see how it tastes, I will be sure to right a review so you all know.
