Weekly Check-in

Happy Wednesday Team!

I hope your weeks are all going strong!  I know now is the time when people have holiday parties, there always seem to be cookies or other sweets at work, etc.  It can be a very difficult time to stay on track with your health and fitness.  Most people are putting on their “winter layer” during this season.  Hopefully this isn’t you and you’re sticking to your plan.  If it is is you, then get ready to bring it in the new year which is fast approaching!

My success tip for this week is to stop procrastinating and do what you know you need to today.  Start with making some small changes that will improve your health.  We just lost a family member yesterday, who thankfully had a long, full life.  But it’s still incredibly sad for everyone.  I’ve seen other situations where people leave a lot sooner than that largely due to health issues that could have been prevented.  So if you know you need to get your health in order, stop waiting.  You never know when it’s going to catch up with you and you don’ t want to wait until it’s too late.  I’m here to help you along the way, so lets do this together!

In other news, I posted an article about working out while you’re hurt.  It recently came up in our household, so I thought it was a pertinent time to write that.  My number 1 piece of advice is always to see a professional if you think you’re injured.  Otherwise there are some situations where you know you probably just need some rest.  Check out the article and let me know what you think!

This coming Wednesday is Christmas, so I will most likely not be sending out a weekly check-in.  So I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and get to spend time with the people who matter most.  Don’t hesitate to reach out to me this week and next, I’ll still be here to help you reach your goals!
