Weekly Check-In

Happy Wednesday Team!

How is everyone feeling this week?  For those of you in the US, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!  Did you stay strong during the holiday or did you take a little break and eat a bit too much?  I know I ate a bit more than I probably should have, but I’m not going to let that discourage me.  If that’s what you did, this is a great week to pick things back up where you left off.  I had 4 days off from working out myself, which is the longest stretch in quite a while, and it took a little while to get back into it Monday morning.  But I pushed through and within like 5-10 minutes of my workout I was feeling good.

So my success tip for this week is: Don’t let your past stop you from being successful today.  This last week is a great example for that. If you ate way more than you should have last week, it can be easy to get discouraged by that and let it throw you off track this week.  Don’t let that happen!  If you ate a lot last week, it happened and there’s nothing you can change about that today.  So instead of feeling down about it and have that lead you to inactivity or eating bad this week, shake it off and start fresh.  There is no reason you can’t turn things around today.  Every single day you have that choice.  You can make it a healthy day by working out and eating right, or you can make it an unhealthy day by not working out and eating junk.  It’s your choice.  But don’t let past struggles or failures stop you from being successful.  You can’t change the past, so why bother worrying about it!

There’s also one thing that’s going to get me very excited to workout, and it’s coming out in just 6 days.  That’s right, it’s P90X3!!  I am so excited for this program and will be ordering it myself as soon as it comes available.   I’ll be posting a FAQ on P90X3 this week, so be on the lookout for that.  In the meantime feel free to shoot me any questions you have.  I love Focus T25 and in my mind this is going to be Tony Horton’s better version of that.  Short workouts that get results with no wasted time.  I love that idea!

Again, I hope your week is off to a great start.  If you have any questions on workouts, nutrition, etc don’t hesitate to contact me, it’s what I’m here for!  I want to see you succeed!  If you’ve been rocking things lately I always love to hear that too 🙂

And 2 favors that I ask:

1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and video, PLEASE help me out by sharing them.  Click the share links below them and share them on FB, Stumbleupon, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow Team New Body!

2) Also, as always, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.teamnewbody.com, or by logging in to www.teambeachbody.com to do your shopping (If you buy from the plain beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
