Weekly Check-In

Happy Wednesday team!

We just got the first real snow of the season so it is officially winter here in my books ūüôā ¬†When it gets cold out it’s much easier to hide under baggy clothing and not really take care of yourself. ¬†Are you the type that takes advantage of that or are you going to work even harder as the winter rolls on so that you’ll be that far ahead when the spring/summer gets here? ¬†I know I plan on working hard and continuing to make progress, so I hope you’ll join me!

My¬†success tip today comes from Darren Hardy, the author of¬†The Compound Effect. ¬†He says, “If your plan isn’t working, change the plan, not the goal.” ¬†I think that’s great advice, especially with fitness. ¬†Everyone’s body does not respond the same way to the same workouts or nutrition plans. ¬†What works for me, might not be exactly what you need. ¬†So if you’re trying something and it’s not working, it’s time to change something about what you’re doing. ¬†Maybe it’s switching up your workouts. ¬†Maybe it’s tweaking your nutrition. ¬†Maybe it’s getting more sleep. ¬†Either way, if you keep doing the same thing and expect a different result, that would be the definition of insanity ūüôā

So if you’ve been frustrated with where things are going, change something up! ¬†You’ll be surprised how well it works.

This past week I posted a couple articles. ¬†The first was detailing 10 Signs That You’re Dehydrated. ¬†Being hydrated is critical for your health, so go check that article out and make sure you’re drinking enough water! ¬†The second was about the November Beachbody Deals. ¬†It’s the month of giving and Beachbody is doing some cool things. ¬†So take advantage this month.

Also just a note that we’re about a month away from the release of P90X3! ¬†I am super pumped about this. ¬†From what I’ve seen it will be kind of like the P90X version of Focus T25. ¬†Shorter workouts, no wasted time, great results. ¬†Plus I find Tony hilarious so I’m excited for that too.
