Weekly Check-In

Happy Wednesday Team!

Thank you for being patient with me as I’ve been traveling quite a bit over the last couple weeks.  Rochelle and I got to spend some time with friends in Arizona which was a blast and then I was right off to Kansas for work, so it felt like I wasn’t home or on my regular schedule for quite a while!  I tried to stay active while I was gone, but it’s never really the same as when you’re home.  How do you handle fitness/nutrition while you’re on the road?

The success tip I want to share with you today is one of my favorite quotes.  Henry Ford once said, “The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can’t are both right.”  I think that applies to a ton of different areas in life, and especially health and fitness.  If you think some workout is too hard, or that you can’t stick with a nutrition plan, or you won’t ever lose weight, you most likely will be right!  On the other hand, if you have a positive outlook, knowing you can give your best to any workout and that you expect to be successful, you will reach your goals.  I have seen it time and time again in myself and other people on our team.  You have to think that you can be successful and believe in yourself to be successful.

There have definitely been some exciting announcements coming from Beachbody over the past couple weeks too!  The first was that P90X3 is coming!  Check out that post for more details, but get ready in December.  I would imagine this is going to be a huge hit.  30 minute, P90X/P90X2 style workouts.  That sounds good doesn’t it?  The other announcement, which I’ll post more about tomorrow is that Team Beachbody is now offering a Shakeology Trial Pack.  It’s 4 samples, 2 Chocolate, 1 Vanilla and 1 Greenberry.  I think this is absolutely perfect for people who want to try it before they buy it.  I do offer free samples, but this is a better way to go in my opinion.  You can check out more about those here: Shakeology Trial Pack.

I did finally post my article on Quick Fixes too.  I enjoyed writing that, go check that out and see if you’ve ever fallen for the most common quick fixes 🙂
