Weekly Check-In

Hey Team!

Happy Wednesday, I hope this week is finding all of you well!  I’m guessing this past weekend may have been a little tough nutrition-wise for many of you as we celebrated our Independence Day for those of us in the US, but this week is a time to get back on track.  It’s definitely ok to enjoy yourself from time-to-time but it’s always important to get back on track after that happens.

This week is week 1 of Focus T25 for me and several Challenge Group members and it’s been a blast!  I will write up more of a review of the Alpha phase after I have all the workouts under my belt but so far I have been very impressed with the workouts.  I really think this program is going to be a game-changer.  They’re short workouts, only 25 minutes, but you still burn a ton of calories.  If you are super busy, this is the workout for you.  I’m excited to keep going through and to see what kind of results our team gets!

I know there are several of you who have expressed interest in doing the program but didn’t order it right away.  But don’t worry, I think we could get enough people together to start a new Challenge Group towards the end of July so that you all have people to plug in with.

Last week I posted my P90X2 Asylum Hybrid Results.  That was an incredibly fun schedule and it was super challenging.  I can tell that my agility really improved over that time but I know my nutrition was not as on track as it should have been.  So I’m somewhat happy with my results, but still have goals I’m striving for!

I’m always setting goals and have things I want to improve on and I would highly recommend you do the same.  Having goals is one of the most motivating things you can do in my opinion.  If you have a goal that is meaningful to you, then you will do what it takes to reach it.

So if you don’t have a goal right now, I want to challenge you to create a goal, write it down, and share it with someone!  That someone can definitely be me, but I think it’s always good to share it with a spouse, parent, best friend, etc.  Someone that sees you in person frequently that can ask you how it’s going face-to-face.
