Weekly Check-In

Hi team!

Happy Wednesday!  I hope this week is off to a great start for you!  If it’s not, what can you do today to turn things around?  What obstacles or excuses are you letting get in your way?  If your goals are important to you, you need get rid of the excuses and commit to accomplishing what you want.  I know many of you are doing this, and I’m truly encouraged by you working hard and setting a great example.

One challenge I want to put out to the team is to write your goals on a note card and carry them with you all the time.  I’m going to do the same.  Just having that note card in your pocket will constantly remind you of them since you’ll know what’s on the card.  And you can always pull it out and read it to remind yourself too.  It’s a very effective way to make sure your goals are on your mind a lot.  And if you’re up for it, I’d love to see your goal card.  Email me a picture and show me what you’re working towards!

This past week I wrote a couple articles that hopefully you found helpful.  The first was on BCAA’s.  I hadn’t even heard of them as a supplement until recently, but there has been a lot of research done on them and they have been very effective for me.  The second article was on heart rate zones.  Do you wear a heart rate monitor?  Do you try and stick in a certain zone?  Check out that article if you want to read my view on heart rate zones.
