Weekly Check-In

Another week has gone by, and it seems like it just flew by to me!  I hope all of your weeks are going well!

I’m on my 3rd week of the Strength phase of P90X2 and have really started seeing some good results.  It’s amazing how much stronger I have gotten and how much I have improved on some of the exercises.  I thought the Foundation phase was tough, with all the instability, but throw the balance work in with the lifting routines and you have some crazy workouts!  I’ll be writing a review of the Strength phase after I have finished it, so look for that to come out in a few weeks.

Last week I posted a couple things that I have been working on for a little while.

First is an article about heart rate monitors.  I hadn’t used one until recently, but I’m realizing how important it is.  It really helps me push myself during the workouts and gives me awesome information, especially about how many calories I burn, so I can adjust my nutrition accordingly.  Check out that article and shoot me a question if you have one about HRM’s.

Second was an article about getting started right.  There is a sea of information out there about health, fitness, workouts and nutrition, so I don’t blame you if you’re a little overwhelmed.  My hope was that post will simplify things a bit for you and boil it down to what you need to know and focus on.  If you’re just getting started please reach out to me or the whole group if you have questions.  No question is dumb, and if you have a question, I’m sure all of us have had a similar question from time to time.  The worst thing you can do is not ask!

Tomorrow I will be posting a new transformation YouTube video that I’ve been working on.  I’ve put quite a bit of time into it and am pretty excited about it so check in tomorrow to see that!  I’ve also got a few other things planned as far as posts, but if there’s a topic that you’re wondering about and would like me to write on just let me know and I will do the research!
