Weekly Check-In

Hey team!

I hope your December is off to a great start!  Crazy that we’re almost a full week in already.  How have you all been doing post Thanksgiving?  Are you back on track with your nutrition and workouts if you had a little time off?  I hope so!  There’s still plenty of time to push hard and reach your goals for 2012.

It’s also not a bad time to start thinking about your goals for 2013.  What do you want to accomplish next year and how are you going to get there?  As a little incentive to help get you started on the right foot, I’m going to run a big promotion in the next few weeks which I will detail on my website this week.  So check back for more on that, you won’t want to miss it.

Seems like I was just finishing up Body Beast, and now I’ve completed Asylum Volume 2 as well!  That was a really fast 4 weeks!  I have to say I really enjoyed the program and getting my butt kicked by Shaun T again.  I’ll post my results and a review as well in the next two weeks so check back for that.

I was getting a few questions about combining P90X and Body Beast, so for those of you wondering, here is my P90X Body Beast Hybrid.  That’s what I’ll be starting the year off with and I have to say I’m very excited for it!  I’m planning on running another Challenge Group at the start of the new year, so start thinking about that if you’ve been wanting to join a challenge.

From the nutrition side I wrote up a post about eat 5-6 small meals a day.  It’s often recommended, but why?  Does it really fuel your metabolism or not?  Check that article out for some good info on that eating pattern.

If you’ve been struggling to find motivation in December, shoot me a message!  I want to help you finish this year well so that you have momentum going into 2013!  That last thing you want to do is backslide for 3 weeks and put yourself in a hole.  So let me know how things are going for you!
