Weekly Check-In

Hey team!

I hope you all had great Thanksgivings!  We hosted for the first time ever, so that was a fun experience.  It was also nice to be local here so I could workout in my normal setting 🙂  I know it’s a holiday that largely revolves around food, so if you ate a bit too much, I hope you’re hitting your workouts hard this week and really dialing in your nutrition now.  Having one bad meal isn’t the end of the world.  The problem comes in when you let that drag you down a slippery slope and continue to eat poorly or start skipping workouts afterwards.

My main question is, how do you want to finish out 2012?  Do you want to finish well or are you going to slack of and put off your fitness or weight loss goals for that inevitable New Year’s Resolution?  We have just over a month left, and a lot can change in a month.  Don’t pack it in now, keep pushing to make progress towards your goals!

My family ran a 5K the morning of Thanksgiving which got me thinking about another type of motivation that I know really gets some people fired up.  I wrote about it on Monday, so if you missed it you should give it a read: Motivating Goals.

If you’re struggling with motivation or are frustrated with your results please know that you’re not alone!  I’m here to support you and help you reach your goals, so reach out to me!  I always love hearing from you all and want to make sure you’re getting the support you need.

And 2 favors that I ask:

1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and video, PLEASE help me out by sharing them.  Click the share links below them and share them on FB, Stumbleupon, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow Team New Body!

2) Also, as always, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.teamnewbody.com, or by logging in to www.teambeachbody.com to do your shopping (If you buy from the plain beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
