Weekly Check-In

Hey Team New Body!

I hope your weeks are all off to a great start!  It’s finally getting warmer here and it’s fun to enjoy more things outside again.  Rochelle and I went to the driving range last night and wow can I tell a difference in my golf swing!  With all the focus on core strength and balance from P90X2 I have noticed a pretty significant change in my distance golfing.  It’s kind of cool when you get to experience benefits from the workouts in other things you do!  Has anyone else noticed that they get better at different sports as a result of their workouts?

I also wanted to highlight a couple important posts I put up last week.  The first is about sleep.  If you didn’t read it, I highly recommend you go check this out: Sleep Benefits.  How much sleep you get can really affect your results.  If you feel like you’re putting your all into the workouts and nutrition but aren’t getting the results you expect, this could be your limiting factor.  So if that’s you go check out that article!

Second, I posted a little Body Beast Preview.  If you haven’t heard about it yet, it’s Beachbody’s “bodybuilding” workout.  So it’s mainly aimed at people who are really looking to put on some size.  I know there are many people out there who struggle with bulking up and just can’t seem to put on muscle and weight.  If that’s you, then Body Beast was really designed with you in mind.  I’m personally very excited about it and will have a couple posts discussing the equipment you need and the line of supplements that Beachbody will be releasing with it.  So stay tuned for more info.

One last note, all of you may not know, but I do send out free samples of Shakeology for those who are serious about buying but just want to make sure they like the taste first.  I just got a new shipment of samples in, so if you are looking to buy it but just want to make sure you like the taste all I need is your name, full mailing address, and the flavor you would like to try.
