Weekly Check-In

Hey Team New Body!

Sorry I missed last week’s check-in, I was out of town for work and had a super packed schedule so I didn’t get a chance to send it out.  But I’m back this week and not quite as busy!  Last week was my last recovery week and now I’ve started a new round of my P90X P90X2 Hybrid.  It feels good to be back at it with some clear goals in mind and a plan in place.

If you didn’t see it, I posted yesterday about my next round goals because I want to be transparent with all of you and let you know what I’m shooting for.  I can’t stress enough how important goals are.  If you aren’t setting goals and you’re finding it difficult to stick with your program, you need to start setting them right now.  Having goals that are meaningful to you can really be a big motivator.

A great example of this is the transformation I posted on Monday.  Check out Kim’s results if you haven’t already because they are super impressive!  She just crushed her first round of Insanity even though she has a very busy schedule.  So I would encourage you to go check out her results and read her story, it’s very inspiring!

One other thing that has helped me greatly is being a part of a challenge group.  I’ve been a part of a challenge group for both Asylum and now P90X2 and the support and motivation I got from those groups is really amazing.  That’s why I have started a couple challenge groups myself, especially for those who might need a little kick in the butt to get going.  So if you might find that helpful and want more information please shoot me a message and let me know and I will find the right group for you.

I’ve got some exciting posts planned for the next couple weeks.  I’m putting the finishing touches on my full P90X2 review, details on how to get a Shakeology discount and I have a series that I’ll start in a couple weeks outlining how to choose the workout program that best suits you.  So keep checking the blog for new posts every day.
