Hey Team New Body!

I hope your March is off to a great start!  We’re finally breaking into spring around here and I love it!  We’ll still get some cold days and some more snow, but we’re nearing the end.  At least the snow provides some extra exercise!

I’m entering my final month of my third straight round of Body Beast.  This round I’ve been focusing quite a bit on my power lifting, which has really been fun!  It still keeps the base of Body Beast intact, but I just switch up some rep ranges and go a bit heavier.  It’s a nice way to keep things fresh!

This ties in with my success tip for the week.  People often complain about getting bored with their workouts and give that as a reason that they don’t stick with it.  So my tip is to change up your routine.  That could mean you try something completely new.  Say you’ve been doing P90X for a while, maybe you would want to try Body Beast or something from Shaun T like T25.  Or maybe you’ve been big into jogging, you could try cycling or swimming instead.

A different way to approach it would be to change up how you’re doing the workouts.  If it’s weights based like P90X or Body Beast, change up your rep ranges.  If you’re jogging, maybe try sprints instead.  You don’t necessarily have to do something totally different to change up your routine and keep it interesting.  I’ve been working out at home 5-6 days a week for the last 4 years and have never been bored because I give myself enough variety.

There is some huge news from Team Beachbody this week, Beachbody On Demand is live!  Now you can stream some of your favorite programs anywhere you have an internet connection!  They will continually be working on adding new programs to the library, but there’s already a good variety there.  Talk about an easy way to be able to try something new!  It’s available for all Club Members and this month they have a Digital Challenge Pack, which includes the Club Membership and Shakeology at a discounted rate.  I’ve tested it out a bit and love it so far!  It will be very nice to not have to worry about DVD’s when I’m traveling.
