Weekly Check-In

Merry Christmas team!

Christmas has sure snuck up on me this year as it always seems to!  But I love this time of year.  We get to celebrate the birth of Jesus and spend time with family and friends.  It really doesn’t get better than that.  For many of my family members, it might be the only time of year I see them as we don’t live super close, so I really look forward to Christmas.  It also tends to come with more food than we usually eat, but focusing on portion control can help there 🙂

Since it’s Christmas, that means that New Year’s is just around the corner.  When you look back at the beginning of 2014, did you set goals for yourself?  If you did, how was your progress?  Did you maintain your momentum throughout the year?  Or were you fired up for a short time just to fall back into bad habits?  Either way things went, I hope you can use it as a learning experience for 2015.  What things are you going to keep doing?  What things are you going to change?  And what’s really motivating you to reach these goals?

The beginning of a new year is always a great time for reflection and planning.  I encourage you to take a good look at your past year and determine how you felt it went.  Then dream about what’s possible for this upcoming year.  I know I have goals that I want to hit, and I look forward to making a plan to hit them.  I hope you’ll join me!!
