Weekly Check-In

Hey Team!

Happy Wednesday!  This week is is often times a pivotal week for people in their fitness journey around the holidays.  Thanksgiving food often spills over into the weekend, but come Monday morning there are two ways to go.  Do you let the food keep coming and slack off with your workouts?  Or do you hit the reset button, commit to your workouts and get back on track eating proper portions of healthy food?  There seems to be a little controversy over how much weight people gain between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Some saying just 1-2 lbs, others saying 7-10 lbs.  But the point is, unless you’re trying to put on muscle, you don’t really want to gain any weight!

I have a little challenge with a friend of mine to lose some weight by the new year.  In the month of December, I’ve committed to losing 10 lbs.  That may sound like a lot, but I’ve been bulking up for quite a while now (intentionally I might add), so losing 10 lbs is realistic for me.  What is a realistic number for you?  How would you like to go into the new year already down a few pounds?  To me, that sounds like an awesome way to end 2014 and be in a good position to start 2015 strong.  So my success tip for the week is to send me a message and let me know how you want to finish 2014!  I’ll help keep you accountable and we’ll have a good time doing this.
