Weekly Check-In

Hey Team!

I hope the last couple weeks have been going well for you!  It’s nice that summer is finally here, I know many of you are taking advantage of warmer weather to workout outside which is great.  We’ve been trying to get outside as much as we can on our bikes or just on walks as well since it seems like there’s snow for 9 months a year here 🙂

If you’ve been following the blog or our Team Facebook Group, you know there have been a ton of updates.  Beachbody’s Coach Summit was last week, and there are always a lot of new things getting announced there.  For the full list of what I heard about, go check out this article – Summit Updates.  There were two things I did want to call out specifically though that I’m really excited about.

  • The first is that Chalene Johnson’s new workout, PiYo, got released.  If you’ve been looking for a low impact workout but still want to work hard, this is definitely the right option.  The PiYo Challenge Pack is on sale now through the end of July for $140, which is an insane deal.  Since it comes with Shakeology, you’re basically getting the program for $10!  It also saves you more money if you’ve been thinking of becoming a Coach.  But message me if that’s what you want to do.
  • The other thing is the 3 Day Refresh.  It’s designed to help you kickstart your weightloss and help you get rid of some goo.  They also made this a $140 Challenge Pack, whereas normally the price for the 3 Day Refresh is $70 on it’s own.  So again, it’s a great deal.

No weekly check-in would be complete without a success tip right?  My tip for this week is to know your limits.  If you have an injury or something that limits you in any way, be smart and don’t do something that’s going to make the issue worse.  Your health is incredibly important, and eating right and working out is a big component of that, but the most important thing is to stay safe while doing it.  If you do something you know your doctor would not advise you to do and then hurt yourself, where does that get you?  It just prevents you from continuing on and sets you back.  So stay smart and work within your limitations.  That doesn’t mean you don’t work hard, it just means you work smart!

As always, I’m here with any questions, updates, etc that you have for me!  I always love hearing about the progress you’re making, so let me know!

And 2 favors that I ask:

1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and video, PLEASE help me out by sharing them.  Click the share links below them and share them on FB, Stumbleupon, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow Team New Body!

2) Also, as always, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.teamnewbody.com, or by logging in to www.teambeachbody.com to do your shopping (If you buy from the plain beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
