Weekly Check-In

Happy Wednesday Team!

The last two weeks have been super busy around here, so sorry for missing the check-in last week!  We did finish up the first 90 days of P90X3 and now are in week 2 of the Elite Block.  It’s an extra 4 week block that’s optional, but we thought it would be fun to do.  The Elite workouts are no joke!  These are probably the hardest workouts to get through, in large part because you need to finish everything in 30 minutes.  So the pace is pretty fast. But so far so good!

Even though it’s been busy I’ve still been posting to the blog.  Since we finished the first 90 days of P90X3, I thought it was time to post our P90X3 Results.  I’m really happy with how the round turned out!  I lost 8 lbs and 9.5 inches!  When you really focus for 30 minutes a day you can see the results you want.  I also posted an article about how to go about breaking plateaus.  I know for me that can be super frustrating.  You feel like you’re doing everything right, but you’re not seeing any change.  That article has some great tips in it.  Finding a routine you like can actually go a long way in helping you stick with your plan and break through plateaus as well.  Finally, I posted the Summer Slimdown deals that Team Beachbody has going on right now.  One of my favorites, Focus T25, is on sale again this month!  So if you haven’t been there lately, head on over to the blog!

My success tip for this week is to believe in yourself and have a positive outlook about your health and fitness journey.  Sometimes when you start to make changes to better your health, you’ll find other people doubt that you can be successful or just bring negativity to the table.  That can be very hard to deal with.  One way to combat that is to set goals, and then believe that you’re going to reach them.  When you think about it in a positive way, you’re much more likely to succeed.  When I was doing my first round of P90X, I had several people tell me I would never finish it.  Little did they know I had already finished a round of Insanity and was not going to let anything stop me!  That was about 3 years ago now 🙂  So be positive and know that you can accomplish what you set out to do.  You are the one who will be putting in the work, so don’t let other people tell you what’s going to happen.
