Weekend Update

Hey team!

You may have been wondering where the check-in was on Wednesday, but don’t fear, I was planning on a weekend update this time ūüôā ¬†I know for many people, including myself, weekends can be an incredibly tough time to stay on track with your fitness and nutrition plans. ¬†For me I think it’s largely due to my schedule being thrown off. ¬†During the week I plan things around my work day and everything goes fairly smooth. ¬†But the weekend is different. ¬†It’s rarely the same and more distractions come up.

One strategy I’ve found that helps a ton is to try and get up at my normal time, or at least not sleep in super late. ¬†Sometimes Saturdays are a good day to catch up on sleep if you need it. ¬†But when I sleep in super late I just feel kinda lazy, then my motivation to workout is not very high, and the whole day gets off on a bad foot.

Instead, when I get up somewhat early, follow my normal routine by working out and drinking my Shakeology for breakfast, it sets a good tone of the day, and I don’t have to worry about my workout for the rest of the day.

So my¬†success tip for the weekend, is to follow your normal routine and plan your day out! ¬†Starting off your day well can go a long way in making the rest of the day something that you’re proud of and not something you’re regretting.

With June just 2 days away, I wanted to remind everyone about a couple things.

We’re coming up on being half way through the year. ¬†If you’ve been procrastinating, just think how pumped you would be if you had started and kept with your program 90 days ago? ¬†Don’t let the¬†next¬†90 days go by without improving your health! ¬†The time is going to pass either way!
