September Check-In

Hey Team!

I know it’s been a long time since you’ve heard from me, but I’m still here plugging away!  I was not intending to be so quiet over the last 5 months, but with a new day job and our first son being born life has been a little busy.  Those are both great things, though, we feel incredibly blessed to have our boy!  I now have a much better understanding of all the parents on our team and some of the challenges that come with having kids.  Before Judd was born I managed to lose 16 lbs with Hammer & Chisel, and over the last 5 months I’ve managed to find 12 of those lbs again.  I’ve been consistent with my workouts, but the nutrition hasn’t been as dialed in as it should be.  I’m taking steps to fix that now and things are headed in the right direction.  Plus, we have a little better routine which allows Rochelle to workout with me and tackle a round of P90X3 together!  There’s also an exciting opportunity that I wanted to get the word out about…

Beachbody Health Bet

health bet picIt’s the Beachbody Health Bet!  It’s similar to all of the Diet Bets that have become so popular lately.  With a typical Diet Bet, everyone puts in some money at the start, and if you lose a certain percentage of your weight then you get to split the pot of money with everyone who accomplished that.  The great part about the Beachbody Health Bet is that you don’t contribute any money, and you don’t need to lose weight to win (although that would most likely be a side effect of participating in the challenge)!  So how do you win?

Here’s how it works:

  1. Participate in a challenge group on the My Challenge Tracker App from September 5th thru October 2nd, 2016
  2. Meet the minimum in-App weekly tracking requirements (and get great results in the process!)
    • Log a minimum of 3 workouts.
    • Log a minimum of 5 Shakeology’s, plus post a photo of your Shakeology with your tracked activity.
  3. Win and share equally in the final cash pot

The money pot is going to be somewhere between $1-3 Million, depending on some sales numbers!  But again, you contribute nothing, you just have to participate.  It’s 4 weeks of tracking your workouts and Shakeology and you get to split the pot, pretty cool isn’t it?

If you want to participate, you will need to let me know this week so I can invite you into the challenge group that I already have started.  All logging takes place in the My Challenge Tracker App which is available for both iOS and Android.  Once you let me know you’re in, I send you an invite via email and you can join from there.  Rochelle and I have been testing the app out the last couple weeks and it’s pretty cool!  If you’re already doing your workouts and drinking your Shakeology, this is a no-brainer.  If you’re not, it’s a great time to get started and head into fall working towards your goals!  Plus, nearly all Challenge Packs are on sale this month, so it’s a great time to take advantage of that.
