I started my weight loss journey with Insanity originally. I was drawn to this program because you don’t need any extra equipment like weights or pull-up bars and the infomercial I saw made it look really intense. And I wasn’t disappointed!!! These workouts, especially the month 2 workouts, are by far the most intense workouts I have ever done. I played sports in high school and stayed active during college but I’ve never experienced a workout like this. I ended up losing 17 lbs. doing the workouts, so it worked great for me.
That being said, this program is really designed for people who are already in fairly good shape. You will do a lot of jumping in this program, so definitely make sure you have a good surface, good shoes, and keep proper form to stay safe. I would highly recommend consulting your physician before doing this workout, but if you’re ready to workout harder than you ever have then get this workout and you won’t be disappointed!!!
