In case you haven’t heard about it yet, P90X2 has already been filmed and is scheduled to be released this fall.  There aren’t a ton of details out about it yet, but it’s going to be 14 discs total with all new workouts.  I know Tony and the other creators have been working with trainers who train some elite athletes, including professional football and basketball players, so they’re really incorporating some cutting edge training techniques.  It’s another 90 day program, but it’s so intense, that they have cut it back to 5 days per week.  It’s also going to have an updated nutrition guide as well.

I also have heard that P90X2 will require some different equipment from P90X, so as it gets closer to the release date I will post some more info on that.  From the sound of things, it looks like this program will really be blasting your core with lots of balance moves incorporated with the lifting moves.  Needless to say, I’m super excited for it to come out!
