July Check-In

Hey Team!

I know it’s been too long since you’ve heard from me. Things have been pretty crazy on my end, but I’ve still been responding to messages and emails, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you need some help! I’ve also been bringing it with my workouts, so that most definitely hasn’t stopped either ūüôā My plan going forward is to send out monthly check-ins. I don’t want to bombard your inbox, but I want you to know I’m still here to help you out.

On that note, I want to share my success tip for this month. It’s to prioritize your health. I bring this up because it’s been something that I’ve had to focus on myself lately. I’ve got my day job, our photography business is in full swing right now and we’re re-doing nearly the entire basement. So it’s felt like I haven’t had a minute to spare these last 2 months. And I’m sure some of you have even tougher schedules, especially if you have kids and their summer activities going. ¬†Regardless of what your schedule looks like, prioritizing your health is incredibly important. When you’re working out regularly and eating well, you’ll have more energy for your other activities and you’re less likely to get sick. My two biggest pieces of advice are to schedule your workout into your day (preferably in the morning) and plan your meals out ahead of time!

I posted this yesterday, but I wanted to highlight it here. ¬†Over the last year, I’ve mostly been doing Body Beast, but starting Monday, August 3rd, Rochelle and I will be doing the 21 Day Fix. ¬†To hear why I’m making that change and see how you can get involved too, read my 21 Day Fix Challenge post. ¬†It’s going to be awesome, and I want you on the journey with us!

In Team Beachbody news, there are some big announcements that just came out at Coach Summit. If you’re unfamiliar with Summit, it’s the yearly conference that Beachbody holds to help teach Coaches how to bring more value to their teams, and they also like to drop huge announcements as well. ¬†I’m putting together a full post with details, but I’ll just highlight two for now:

Shaun T’s new program, centered around teaching you how to dance, is now available. They’ve been teasing this for a while, so if you keep up with Shaun or Beachbody on Facebook or Instagram, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Lots of people are really excited for this and I’m sure it will burn a lot of calories without being high impact like some of his other workouts. I could probably use the help with my dance moves, bu I have other plans right now for my workouts. ¬†Check out more details here.

Performance Supplement Line is available today

Beachbody just released a whole new line of high quality supplements. I’ll be getting that post together soon with more details. ¬†Just know they have no artificial ingredients, which is incredibly uncommon in the supplement industry and they’re also NSF certified, meaning pro athletes are cleared to use them. ¬†I’m really excited to get my hands on them and try them out!
