February Check-In

Happy February Team!

We’re roughly 2 months into the year, and this is when it can be really tough to stick with your plan. The workouts might seem less exciting and the nutrition plan might seem tough to stick to, but if you keep it up now and push through this is when you really start seeing results! Don’t let all the hard work you put in at the beginning of the year go to waste! Double down on your efforts, focus on why you’re making a healthy lifestyle change, and reach out if you need help getting that fire back!

My success tip for this month comes from the first National Wake-up Call of the year. If you’re unfamiliar with that, it’s a weekly call that recognizes Coaches who are doing well in their business and has a guest speaker that covers a specific topic each week. It’s something that gets me fired up every time I listen to it! But getting back to the point, my success tip is to do one thing TODAY that will move you closer to your goals.

Carl Daikeler, Beachbody’s CEO, was speaking on the first NWC of the year and was talking about a conversation he had with a friend. His friend made the comment that he felt like 2016 was going to be a great year. Carl wanted to get at why his friend thought it was going to be a great year. Carl asked him, “What are you doing this month, this week, TODAY, that’s going to ensure that 2016 is a great year??” For some reason this just stuck with me. What Carl is saying is that we need to take ACTION and we need to do that TODAY if we want to reach our goals. When you consistently take small actions daily that move you towards your goal, you will see great progress over time.

I have been trying my best to put that into practice and 2016 really has been a great year so far! I’m in my last week of Hammer & Chisel, and my plan is to go straight into my second round. It has so much variety that I feel like once through just isn’t enough. If you’ve been considering it, I would love to go through it together and can share some insights from my first round. I’ll also be writing up a review once I finish up.
