If you’re wondering if Power 90 works, then Colin’s results are going to answer that for you. Colin is one of the most dedicated Team New Body members out there and is not one to let excuses get in the way. It has been awesome to continually hear how much progress he has been making and I’m excited to share it with all of you now that he has completed his 90 days of Power 90! He is a true testament that if you follow your nutrition plan and do the workouts, without letting excuses get in your way, you will see amazing results! In just 90 days, Colin dropped 22 lbs and 12.5 inches!! I know there were days when it was tough to get up early and get the workout in, but Colin did it, and I’m sure it helped to have his wife working out along side him! He also took his workouts with him when traveling for business, too. Colin has absolutely earned these results, and after his half marathon coming up he’s planning on jumping in to P90X, so I’m sure we’ll be hearing more from him! Here are Colin’s before/after pictures and a little bit of his story in his own words:
About 2 years ago, I moved to North Carolina to start a business with a colleague of mine. After working 18-20 hours/day, and eating horribly, not working out frequently, I gained quite a bit of weight.
I moved back here to Fort Wayne, Indiana after the business and partnership were not doing very well, and the partnership was dissolved. I had very little that fit me at that point, and before a business trip I had to make a late night (about 9 pm) trip to the mall to find shirts that would fit me. This was before I had to get up at 4:00 am to get to the airport the next day.
After this experience, and the fact that I had many, many really nice clothes, none of which fit, I decided to do something about it.
I chose Power90 because it was something that both my wife and I felt that we could do together, and stick to. It also did not require any additional equipment than what we already had, and the meal plan seemed very easy to follow.
It also seemed like it was at a level that would be easy enough to stick to with the intention of beginning P90X afterwards. I have since ordered that, and will be starting on 5/8/2012.
Once I took before pictures, they were much worse that I thought. Especially the back picture. I never knew I had back rolls!!
I looked at this picture a few times during the first 6-8 weeks whenever I didn’t feel very motivated. This actually helped.
Colin hit his goal weight of 165 lbs. and people in his life have been taking notice! I’m sure that feels good and as a runner, it helps a ton to be carrying less weight on his long jogs. I think Colin’s results really show that if you’re willing to put in the work with the nutrition and the workouts, you can make huge changes, so if you’re struggling to stick with it I hope this motivates you to keep pushing!
