Hi Team New Body!

I realize it’s been two weeks since you heard from me, sorry about that!  I was out of town for work again, not having room for my personal computer.  But I’m glad to be back and hope you’re all still doing great!  I do have to admit, traveling for me can be very tough on the workouts and nutrition.  It’s one area I struggle with for sure.  I just started Body Beast with a few people on our team, and that’s not exactly a program that lends itself to traveling.  There was a hotel gym, but I had to modify a lot.  Nutrition is always tough for me on the road as well, as I’m eating out for every meal.  But the good news is that I’m back and hitting things hard to start this week off!  How do you handle your fitness and nutrition when you’re on the road?

The success tip this week hits home after not having my best week ever: Success is not measured by how many times you fall down, it’s measured by how many times you get back up.  When you’re going after a goal, you’re going to fail.  It’s inevitable.  Have you ever had a setback in your fitness journey?  Ever miss a week?  Ever have too many cheat meals?  Of course these things happen!  But the people I know who have had the most success are those who acknowledge that they’ve come short but use that as an opportunity to learn and improve on things next time.  Don’t get discouraged if you have a setback or fail in some area, that’s ok and it’s actually a good thing!  It makes you stronger and more resilient because you can learn a ton from that situation.

If you want some extra motivation, check out the video I posted for this week’s Monday Motivation.  This week I have a couple posts lined up and in the works.  One of which is a review of T25’s Gamma Phase.  To me it feels like a much different phase than Alpha & Beta.  So you’ll get my thoughts on that.
