Beast Meatballs

beast meatballsThis post comes from one of Team New Body’s first members, Aaron.  He whipped up the meatballs from Body Beast and said they were awesome so I decided I’d post the recipe.  They look pretty easy to make and delicious!  These make a great, protein packed meal.

Ingredients:

Nonstick cooking spray
1-1/2 lbs ground turkey
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 large egg, lightly beaten
3/4 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped, fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons all natural tomato sauce

To Prepare:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and spray a cooking sheet with nonstick cooking spray

2. Combine all ingredients in large bowl, mixing together with clean hands

3. Roll mixture into 30, 1-inch balls and place on cooking sheet

4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until center is no longer pink
