90 Day Challenge

I’ve alluded to this in a couple posts recently, and I wanted to officially give you all the details on a 90 Day Challenge I want to start with our team.  I want to do this because I’ve been involved in challenges before and I absolutely love them!  It is incredibly motivating to have a group of people who are striving for the same thing as you all doing it at the same time.  Plugging in to a challenge group also provides a whole new level of accountability because you have people to check in with.  And challenge groups are really where I see people get the best results.  Beachbody has also laid out a great platform for us to structure our challenges.  The whole concept behind the challenges is: FITNESS + NUTRITION + SUPPORT = RESULTS

It’s a simple formula, but it’s one that really works.  I know because I’ve been a product of it.  If you haven’t seen it already, here is Beachbody’s CEO, Carl Daikeler, explaining the Beachbody challenge:

So that’s about the Beachbody Challenge, which is what I want to base our team’s challenge on.  I will be forming small groups of 5 people to join their own Challenge group.  And what I expect you to commit to is a few things:

1) Do you workout every day (or every scheduled day).  You don’t have to be doing any particular workout program, I’ll form the groups based on who is doing what, so don’t worry about that.  Personally I’m going to be doing P90X2, which I couldn’t be more excited about!

2) Drink Shakeology once a day.  The reason I say this is because nutrition is absolutely critical to getting amazing results.  And Shakeology is by far the healthiest thing you could be eating.  It has helped me get in the best shape of my life, so I know it works.

3) Plug in with your team every day.  I will be creating a private Facebook group for your team and expect you to check in with your team every day to offer encouragement and tell everyone how you’re doing.  Building relationships within your team will help you stick with your commitment and you will really be able to push each other.  Plus it makes it way more fun!

So those are the 3 commitments that I expect out of everyone who wants to participate in our Challenge groups.  The groups will start January 9th, so there is plenty of time to get things figured out.  If you need to get a workout program, or Shakeology, or some equipment you have plenty of time to get those things.  If you decide to join you are going to see awesome results!  The formula works, I know from experience.  So if you want to join one of our Challenge groups, leave a comment here or shoot me a message at newbodycoachtom@gmail.com and will get you plugged in!
